Special tools needed? Have to remove other parts to reach this one? Any left-hand threads, sharp edges, messy fluids or other pitfalls to avoid? Buy some 1" to 2" hose clamps at your local hardware or auto parts store. Use Permatex #2A as the sealant. Don't forget to re-tighten the hose clamps after a few days. Here’s a TIP on removing the drain plug from the pipe (not the radiator): Use a 1/2" breaker bar with a 14 mm socket. Work the plug back and forth a few times and then go for it - it will come right off. When re-installing the drain plug, use liquid Teflon pipe sealant. Good luck!
